The primary payload on this mission, the Magellan/Venus radar mapper spacecraft, was successfully deployed beginning its 15 month journey to Venus. Secondary experiments included the Mesoscale Lightning Experiment and the Microgravity Research with the Fluids Experiment Apparatus study.!
